Craig is an asset management and corporate lawyer advising on all aspects of the structuring, restructuring, merger, sale, establishment and operation of private and listed investment funds, including private equity funds, real estate funds, single asset vehicles (SPACs) and other collective investment arrangements. In addition, Craig advises on the merger and acquisition of private and listed companies, schemes of arrangement and competition issues.
Craig acts as ongoing legal counsel to various boards of investment fund companies, investment managers and sponsors and has extensive experience of listing investment vehicles and acquisition vehicles on numerous markets, including the London Stock Exchange plc's Main Market and Specialist Fund Segment, Euronext Amsterdam, the Irish Stock Exchange and The International Stock Exchange. In addition, Craig has in-depth experience on the operation of settlement systems, including dual-settlement across multiple exchanges.
Craig also provides regulatory advice, including to funds and asset managers on the application of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive, the marketing of investment vehicles in numerous jurisdictions, as well as investment management arrangements for insurers.
Before joining Ogier in 2016, Craig spent over 10 years working in the investment funds teams of two leading international law firms in London.
