Leila Cazaly

Leila is a paralegal in Ogier's Cayman law Dispute Resolution team. Leila provides a wide range of professional support and her expertise lies in commercial litigation, corporate and financial services disputes, fraud and asset tracing, insolvency and restructuring.

Background and experience

Before joining Ogier in 2022, Leila completed the Bar Vocational Studies LLM for which she was awarded the Cassel Scholarship and a residential award by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. During the course of her LLM, Leila specialised in corporate law and practice with a particular focus on fraud and asset tracing, in addition to company law. Leila is due to be called to the Bar of England and Wales later this year.

Following completion of her law degree at the University of Cambridge in 2015, Leila gained experience working as a paralegal for another Jersey firm where her work focused on commercial offshore litigation, fraud and asset tracing and complex cross-border disputes. Prior to commencing her law degree, Leila successfully graduated from a two-year programme entitled Pathways to Law which she undertook at the LSE.
