Paul has over ten years experience in the Cayman Islands financial services industry, with seven years directly in the Investment Funds arena. He was employed with the investment portfolio arm of a high net worth private investment firm gaining exposure to a wide array of global investment products with varying investment objectives. Paul has a good working knowledge of the accounting and administration of Investment Funds, having worked with two of the largest global funds service providers in the Cayman Islands.
Paul completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School (Manchester, UK), the Graduate Diploma in Law from Nottingham Law School (Nottingham, UK), an M.B.A. from the International College of the Cayman Islands and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance from Temple University (Philadelphia, PA, USA).
Whilst in the UK, Paul completed a legal internship in the Investment Funds practice of a major offshore law firm in London and volunteered as a Student Legal Adviser in the Legal Advice Clinic of Nottingham Law School.
Paul served as a sub-committee member of the Caymanian Bar Association tasked with reviewing and providing recommendations to the Cayman Islands Government on the National Pensions (Amendment) Bill, 2015. He is a member of the Cayman Islands Law Society, Caymanian Bar Association and 100 Men Who Give a Damn.
