Rebecca Clark is part of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Restructuring & Corporate Recovery team. She specialises in refinancing, corporate restructuring and reorganisation, distressed funds and private equity, with experience in member and creditor schemes of arrangement. Her achievements include working on the first ever 'soft touch' provisional liquidation in the BVI and the completion of the successful novel BVI scheme of arrangement for a debt restructuring as part of a US$1.5 billion global restructuring.
Rebecca is part of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Private Equity team. She specialises in restructuring and recovery, including providing restructuring advice to creditors, shareholders and other stakeholders of distressed funds and portfolio companies, and fund formation, including advising on ongoing fund operation and regulatory compliance.
Rebecca is a corporate and finance lawyer with particular expertise in cross border mergers and acquisitions. Rebecca has worked on a wide range of corporate and finance transactions, including fund financings, real estate investment funds, multi-jurisdiction mergers and acquisitions, property and asset financings, voluntary and involuntary liquidations and corporate restructurings
Rebecca trained at Stephenson Harwood LLP, an international law firm in London, where she qualified into the corporate finance team, specialising in mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Ogier Rebecca also practised for 3 years in another leading offshore law firm in their Jersey and BVI offices.
Rebecca graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2006 and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in 2008.
