Having a will means that your family and loved ones will be spared uncomfortable decisions and conversations at a difficult time, and it means that you're in control not just of what happens to your assets, but also lets you record your wishes about funeral arrangements too.
Making a will under Jersey law is a very different process to that in England & Wales – but it doesn't have to be too complicated, time-consuming or costly.
Ogier's new will portal enables you, in your own space and time, to put together all of the information needed for us to draft a simple will for you. Your answers to our questionnaire will be put into a legal format and reviewed by our team before sending this to you so that you can make sure that it reflects your wishes. We will then arrange a meeting at our offices at which you will be able to sign your will.
At any time in the process you can contact one of our expert team to explain anything that you need help with before you come in to sign your draft will – and we can help you to update or edit your will at any time.
