Acted as Jersey counsel to a specialist bank involved in international transport finance in connection with an English law guarantee provided by a Jersey company and others as guarantors guaranteeing the obligations of two Bermudan borrowers under a US $45,000,000 secured loan facility provided by the bank and other lenders.
The purpose of the facility was to finance two Panamanian-registered “ice bulk carriers” designed specifically with Arctic trade in mind.
