Charlotte Brown

Charlotte is a senior associate in the Corporate team. Having first joined Ogier as a bursary student over the course of her degree, Charlotte returned to Ogier in 2014 as a trainee solicitor and was admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales in June 2016.

Culture

Ogier fosters a collegiate work environment. Individuals are given challenging tasks for high-calibre clients but within a supportive team with an innovative attitude towards flexible and remote working arrangements. I know my team is committed to helping me achieve my highest potential.

Victoria Randall

Victoria joined Ogier in 2019 and is a paralegal in the Dispute Resolution team. While working full-time at Ogier, Victoria is also studying with CILEx Law School through distance learning.

Personal development

My team is very understanding and supportive of my study commitments and members of my team proactively find out the areas of law I am specifically interested in, and/or are relevant to my studies, so that they can channel appropriate work to me. Alongside providing me with study leave, Ogier has also set me up with a mentor who recently completed her studies, which has been a great support for tips and advice. 

Jonathan Law

Jonathan joined Ogier in April 2019 and is undertaking a training contract to qualify as an English solicitor. He is currently working within the Dispute Resolution team, having spent time with the Banking and Finance team.

Technology and innovation

Ogier supplies tech for colleagues to work flexibly without geographical limitations. This is well supported by the complementary infrastructure, software and technical experts who are based in our offices across time zones, ensuring access to round-the-clock IT support should we need it. We also collaborate heavily with our colleagues advising on different laws from different jurisdictions. This is highlighted by a recent finance transaction that I have worked on with my Jersey and BVI colleagues.
