Anthony Oakes marks 10 years of ALB recognition with latest Offshore Client Choice listing

Anthony Oakes, head of Ogier’s finance practice in Asia and the Middle East, has been named in the Asian Legal Business (ALB) Offshore Client Choice list 2026, marking a decade of standout recognition in the publication.  

Offshore Client Choice spotlights 10 lawyers who are trusted by clients across Asia to deliver on complex corporate cross-border matters. Anthony has been recognised for his work advising on BVI and Cayman Islands law in financing and corporate transactions and restructurings throughout the region.  

Recent high-profile work includes advising Acclime Holdings Limited on the sale of the Acclime Group of companies to funds controlled by Warbug Pincus, and a US$1.13 billion green loan financing for Kingston Green Logistics, named ALB Finance Deal of the Year. 

Anthony has been recognised by ALB Offshore Client Choice every year since its inception in 2016, making him one of only two lawyers to maintain such a consistent presence in the rankings. He is also ranked as a leading individual in Chambers Global, Chambers Asia-Pacific, Legal 500 Asia Pacific and IFLR 1000 (Notable Practitioner).
