Ogier stars shine with three Gold wins at 2025 Citywealth Powerwomen Awards

Ogier private client specialists Deborah Barker Roye, Rebecca McNulty and Diana Rodriguez have triumphed in their categories at the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards.

Deborah's win in the Inspirational Woman of the Year category comes less than a year after she was promoted to partner in the firm's Cayman Islands office. This was the latest milestone in a career in academic and public and private legal practice spanning 30 years. In 2024, she was also featured in the Private Client Global Elite Directory, which lists the world's most respected lawyers advising ultra high net worth clients. She specialises in contentious trust and estate matters, working as part of Ogier's top tier Trusts Advisory Group.

Rebecca, a partner in the Jersey office, was meanwhile named Champion of the Year at the awards ceremony. Her practice covers all aspects of dispute resolution, in particular contentious trusts, property disputes and cross border insolvency and restructuring. She has been recognised in The Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner, as one of Citywealth's Top 200 IFC Powerwomen, in Chambers & Partners and the Citywealth Leaders' List.

Diana gained the honour of Rising Star. A senior associate based in Guernsey, she advises trustees, beneficiaries and settlors on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious trust, foundation and private client matters. She has already been acknowledged as a rising star of the private client profession in the 2024 eprivateclient NextGen Leaders list.

The Citywealth Powerwomen awards – now in their 14th year – champion women in the wealth sector from all over the world and highlight the female leaders of today and tomorrow.

Ogier's Global Senior Partner Rachael Reynolds KC, recently recognised in Chambers Global as "doyenne of the Cayman legal profession", attended the international awards ceremony in London to support her colleagues.
