Ogier wins Corporate Social Intelligence Award for community impact in the British Virgin Islands

Ogier has been recognised for its community impact in the British Virgin Islands, receiving the Corporate Social Intelligence Award at the 2026 Virgin Islands Icon Awards.

The award recognises Ogier's ongoing commitment to supporting communities across the BVI through long-standing partnerships, charitable donations, employee volunteering and initiatives that promote education, wellbeing and social inclusion.

“Supporting the communities where we live and work is an important part of who we are as a firm. This award is recognition not only of Ogier’s commitment to the BVI but also of the dedication of our people to the many community organisations we are privileged to work alongside,” said BVI practice partner Nicholas Brookes.

“We are proud of the relationships we have built and remain committed to supporting initiatives that create opportunities and make a positive difference.”

Among the initiatives recognised by the award were Ogier’s long-standing support for Joyce Samuel Primary School, sponsorships of sponsorship of the Creative Waves HM Prison Balsam Ghut arts rehabilitation programme, donations to the Family Support Network BVI, sponsorship of the BVI Literary Festival, plus Ogier’s collaboration with the BVI Financial Services Commission's Money Matters BVI programme.

The award also recognises the contribution made by Ogier employees who, through the firm’s global CSR programme, receive paid leave to volunteer in their communities.

Hosted annually, the Virgin Islands Icon Awards celebrate excellence, leadership and community impact across a range of sectors in the BVI.
