Background and experience
In particular, Ogier helps client families identify and compare suitable relocation options and Andrew's knowledge and experience of establishing residency, as well as family office and business infrastructure in Monaco, greatly assists in this area.
Andrew has more than 35 years' experience helping families with significant assets develop and implement effective inter-generational wealth preservation and succession plans, on an international basis.
His past roles have included leading EY's UK private client practice as a tax partner, heading Barclays Private Bank's global wealth advisory and trusts arm and as an owner/manager of an independent trust and corporate services firm.
Andrew's career started in the City of London, where he qualified with KPMG as a Chartered Tax Adviser. Throughout, his focus has been on private clients and families, almost always involving cross-border and asset-holding structuring considerations.
As well as the UK, Andrew has lived and worked in Jersey, Singapore and Monaco - where he has been a resident since 2017.
