Brian Fortini

Brian is an associate in Luxembourg's Banking and Finance team. He specialises in banking and financial law, assisting international corporations, investment and financial institutions in various types of cross-border financial transactions, including secured loans, financing for acquisitions and refinancing.

Background and experience

Before joining Ogier, Brian was part of the banking and finance team at Loyens & Loeff Luxembourg SARL where he specialised in in various types of cross-border financial transactions, including secured loans, financing for acquisitions and refinancing as well as debt restructuring (refinancing, granting of guarantees and securities package, liability issues and, in particular, implementation of the double Luxco structure).  A graduate of the University of Perugia, he has also been part of the Cecchini Studio Legale's team back in Italy assisting clients on banking and tax advice in regard to Italian law.
