Gayoung joined the corporate team as an associate having completed her training contract with Ogier. Prior to joining Ogier, Gayoung was part of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP's capital market team in Seoul where she assisted with corporate matters including IPOs and bond issuance. She also has litigation experience within the Dispute Resolution department at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, London.
Gayoung attained the GDL and LPC at the University of Law in Guildford. Gayoung is fluent in Korean.
