James O'Sullivan

James is a senior associate in Ogier's Corporate team in the Cayman Islands, with particular expertise in M&A, private equity and general corporate advisory.

Background and experience

James advises clients in M&A and capital markets transactions, and has experience representing buyers, sellers and private equity sponsors across a number of sectors.

Prior to joining Ogier in 2025, James was part of Gilbert + Tobin's M&A / Corporate Advisory team in Melbourne, Australia.

James received his Bachelors of Laws and Commerce from the University of Adelaide and qualified as a solicitor in Australia in 2016.
