Joanna advises on a wide variety of matters including investment funds, regulatory issues, banking and corporate transactions.
Joanna deals with all aspects of investment funds - in addition to her involvement in fund launches and the establishment of co-investment and carry vehicles, Joanna provides advice to a variety of funds on an ongoing basis with a particular focus on private equity and venture capital. Joanna also advises on fund marketing, Jersey financial services regulatory law and AIFMD.
Before joining Ogier in 2012, Joanna worked as an associate in the Corporate Real Estate team at Slaughter and May (where she also trained) and as a finance associate at Herbert Smith where she was involved in a range of banking and finance work, specialising in particular in real estate finance transactions.
Joanna is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and has an MA Hons degree in Geography from Keble College, Oxford.
