Leah is an award-winning corporate solicitor and an associate in Ogier's Corporate team in the British Virgin Islands. She provides pragmatic advice across a broad spectrum of corporate disciplines, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, employee incentives, corporate finance, company reorganisations and restructuring.
Background and experience
Prior to joining Ogier, Leah assisted a range of innovative start-ups from incorporation to exit, giving her a wealth of knowledge in the technology sector and particular expertise in venture capital and funding rounds at all stages.
Her experience also extends to advising large international companies, shareholders, directors, and SMEs on high-value, cross-border transactions.
As a previous executive committee member of the Junior Lawyers Division of the Law Society of England and Wales, Leah represented over 70,000 junior lawyers nationally for over three years as well as advocating for local London law societies and constituents in Westminster and Holborn.
She has contributed articles to several leading legal publications, including The Lawyer and The Law Society Gazette, and is an avid supporter of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, serving on various social and CSR committees at her previous London law firms.
Having attended school in Spain, Leah speaks fluent Spanish and German, and spent a year studying Spanish Law at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid when reading Law with Hispanic Law LLB at University College London.
