Ogier advises Columbus Acquisition Corp on US$250 million de-SPAC business combination with WISeSat.Space

Ogier's Corporate specialists in Hong Kong have advised longstanding client Columbus Acquisition Corp on its US$250 million de-SPAC business combination, resulting in the public listing of space technology company WISeSat.Space Holdings Corp.

The business combination supports WISeSat.Space's plans to expand its space infrastructure while capitalising on its expertise in cybersecurity, digital identity and semiconductors.

Ogier advised Columbus, a Cayman-incorporated SPAC, on all Cayman Islands aspects of the business combination. The transaction closed on 1 October 2026 and the combined company began trading on Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker SAIQ on 2 October.

The Ogier team was led by partner Rachel Huang with support from global head of Corporate Nathan Powell and legal manager Chloe Yip. The team worked alongside Loeb & Loeb LLP, acting as US counsel to Columbus.
