Ogier advises NatWest on £2.7bn acquisition of Evelyn Partners Group

Ogier, together with principal deal counsel Slaughter and May, is advising NatWest Group Plc (NatWest) on NatWest's acquisition of the Evelyn Partners Group from funds advised by Permira and Warburg Pincus in a transaction valued at £2.7 billion.

Evelyn Partners Group is a leading UK wealth manager and the transaction will create the UK’s leading private banking and wealth management business. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the summer of 2026.
 
The multi-jurisdictional Ogier team is led by partners Richard Daggett and Matt McManus in Jersey and Richard Sharp in Guernsey with support from managing associate Alex Fisher and senior associate Naomi Chinniah in Jersey and counsel Liam Murphy in Guernsey.
