Ogier advises Yuexiu REIT on dual-tranche issuance of US$300m and CNY690m guaranteed green notes

Ogier in Hong Kong acted as British Virgin Islands counsel on the dual-tranche issuance of US$300 million and CNY690 million green notes by Yuexiu REIT MTN Company Limited and Moon King Limited respectively – supporting the refinancing of existing real estate projects.

Yuexiu MTN Company and Moon King are subsidiaries of Yuexiu Real Estate Investment Trust (Yeuxiu REIT), a real estate investment trust listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange investing in properties exclusively situated in the PRC and Hong Kong.

The USD and CNY green bonds were issued under the guaranteed medium term note programme of Yuexiu REIT. Previously, Ogier's Corporate specialists also advised the trust on the issuance of RMB600 million panda bonds.

The Ogier team was led by partner Cecilia Li, with support from the firm's global head of Corporate, Nathan Powell, legal manager Jasmine Chan, associate Kingston Tang and paralegal Josie Ma.
