Ogier advises Yuexiu REIT on its RMB600 million panda bonds issuance

Ogier in Hong Kong acted as British Virgin Islands counsel to HKEX-listed Yuexiu Real Estate Investment Trust 2012 Company Limited on its successful issuance of RMB600 million first tranche medium term bonds issued on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The bonds had a coupon rate of 2.7% and an upper limit of issuance amount of RMB2 billion. 

Yuexiu Real Estate Investment Trust 2012 Company Limited (Yuexiu REIT) is the first listed real estate investment trust to invest in properties exclusively situated in the PRC and Hong Kong. 

The Ogier team was led by partner Cecilia Li, with support from the firm's global head of Corporate, Nathan Powell, legal manager Jasmine Chan, associate Kingston Tang and paralegal Josie Ma.
