Ogier advises LSE listed company B&M European Retail Value plc on landmark migration from Luxembourg to Jersey

Ogier's Corporate team in Jersey has advised B&M European Retail Value plc in connection with all Jersey aspects of its complex re-domiciliation from Luxembourg to Jersey – one of the largest ever corporate migrations for a public listed company.

B&M is among the largest listed companies in Jersey, a leading European variety discount retailer and a UK household name. This complex cross-border deal is believed to be one of very few, and certainly one of the largest, public listed company corporate migrations ever undertaken.

The migration of B&M to Jersey demonstrates Jersey's excellent reputation globally as a jurisdiction of choice for listed companies.

The Ogier Corporate team assisted B&M and their legal, financial and tax advisers in the UK and Luxembourg. The team was led by partner James Fox, a capital markets expert, assisted by senior associates Robin Burkill and Marcela Tudose.
