Ogier in Jersey advises Trian and General Catalyst on proposed acquisition of Janus Henderson

Ogier's Corporate team in Jersey has acted for Trian Fund Management and General Catalyst on their proposed US$7.4 billion acquisition of Janus Henderson Group plc.

Janus Henderson Group plc is a global active asset manager incorporated in Jersey and listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Trian is a multibillion-dollar investment management firm and General Catalyst is a global investment and transformation company.

The transaction values Janus Henderson at an equity value of US$7.4 billion — making it the largest asset management deal of 2025. The deal is scheduled to close in 2026.
