Ogier's Guernsey team advises on £55m fund launch

Ogier's Guernsey asset management and investment funds team has advised on the launch of Continental Investment Partner's new AIM-listed £55 million fund, CIP Merchant Capital Limited.

The Ogier team included senior associate Michael Richards and associate Caleb Holder providing Guernsey law advice on the launch, working with lead counsel Gowling WLG, administrator Maitland and financial adviser Strand Hanson. 

The fund, which is managed by Merchant Capital Manager Limited, an affiliate of Continental Investment Partners SA, is targeting mainly companies listed on western stock exchanges in the oil and gas, healthcare, pharmaceutical and real estate industries.
