The next Trusts Advisory Group Seminar, hosted by the Ogier team will take place on Wednesday 24 January.

Andy Carpenter, a Senior Consultant in our Ogier Regulatory Consulting team will be presenting on 'Virtual Assets AML techniques,
Use of Open Source Intelligence and the Virtual Asset Travel Rule' and will:

  • Provide advice and guidance on what tools and techniques can be used to help ensure AML compliance when it comes to Virtual Assets. Some of these tools and techniques can also be used to enhance the current AML compliance methods used by traditional financial service providers.

  • Look at the difficulties in applying the Travel Rule to Virtual Assets and what methods companies are using to try to adhere to this rule.

A light breakfast will be served prior to the seminar which will also be an opportunity to network. Please note that this seminar may be
considered as a CPD hour.
