Dubai's DMCC debuts innovative SPV and holding company licences

The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has introduced two new licensing categories: the special purpose vehicle and holding company licences.

These new offerings will provide businesses in Dubai with increased flexibility and cost-effective options for structuring investments and overseeing regional operations, without the necessity of a physical office space. 

Ahmed Hamza, executive director of Free Zone at the DMCC, highlighted the initiative as a strategic move to address the dynamic needs of businesses looking for efficient corporate structuring solutions. The special purpose vehicle (SPV) and holding company licences promise to enhance DMCC's standing as a leading global trade and investment hub by offering frameworks that support asset management and operational oversight across markets.
