Ogier's "excellent" and "diverse" London office has been recognised for its broad capabilities, commercial approach and strength in complex, cross-border matters in the latest Legal 500 UK rankings.

The London team is ranked in Legal 500 UK 2027 in the Offshore Firms in London and Foreign-based Expertise categories. Five of the seven lawyers recognised in the latest guide have received new or enhanced rankings.

London partner Bruce Scott said: "What stands out in the feedback is how well clients say we are equipped to deal with complex matters, particularly in our key capabilities of corporate, finance, funds and disputes, and how we can collaborate across our global network to facilitate transactions whilst providing advice in our clients’ time zone. Congratulations to the team for their well-deserved recognition."

In the Offshore Firms in London category, Bruce Scott and Richard Bennett are named as Leading Partners. Anna Snead has a new ranking of Leading Associate, with Jeremy Snead, Hannah Diss, Ewelina Clyde-Smith and Ross Wilding recognised as key lawyers.

In Foreign-based Expertise, partner Richard Bennett is recognised as a Leading Partner, while Hannah Diss is newly ranked as a Leading Associate.

The London team's strong market position was emphasised in client feedback with the “Ogier team taking responsibility in for ensuring that there are no holdups on the offshore piece” and being “approachable, personable and proactive".

Bruce brings “a calm, solutions-orientated approach” and Richard is “very knowledgeable, commercial and well connected”.

Jeremy Snead and Anna Snead’s disputes practice was also recognised in feedback as being "well-known and reputed in the market" and "a very safe pair of hands to refer offshore work to".

The firm's commitment to diversity also received notable feedback, with one client saying that Ogier is the most diverse of its peers, “not solely in the London offshore practice, but globally. While all firms talk about diversity, Ogier actually practices it."

Ogier’s London office provides UK-based clients, intermediaries and international law firms with access to the firm’s multi-jurisdictional expertise. The team includes lawyers specialising in Cayman Islands, BVI, Guernsey, Jersey, Irish and Luxembourg law, plus Ogier Global’s corporate and fiduciary experts.
