Dispute resolution expert Zhao Rong Ooi joins the Ogier partnership in Hong Kong

Shareholder disputes, private wealth and insolvency and restructuring specialist Zhao Rong Ooi has joined Ogier in Hong Kong as a partner.  

Zhao Rong, who has previously been recognised as a "key lawyer" by Legal 500 and as a leading practitioner in its inaugural power list for Private Practice Arbitration Hong Kong, joins Oliver Payne, Joanne Collett and Justin Davis as a partner in the Hong Kong contingent of Ogier's multi-jurisdictional Dispute Resolution team.  

A full member (TEP) of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Fellow of INSOL International, Zhao Rong brings a wealth of experience in international commercial litigation and arbitration, valuation, directors' and shareholder disputes, and regularly advises on cross border enforcement and recognition proceedings.   

He has significant experience acting both as counsel and an arbitrator and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).
