Aurélie Clementz has joined the Ogier partnership to spearhead the international law firm's tax offering in Luxembourg.

Aurélie brings more than a decade of experience in Luxembourg tax law to her practice. Her expertise includes international transactions and tax structuring for investment funds, multinational groups and private equity sponsors. She is also an expert on the various tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and joint ventures vehicles.

Luxembourg practice partner Bertrand Géradin said: "Ogier's tax team is an integral part of our corporate and funds services in Luxembourg, and as tax legislation and practice becomes increasingly complex, the ability to provide clients with commercial, concise and efficient tax advice has never been more important.

"We are very excited to have Aurélie join the team. She brings with her a wealth of experience that will further enhance our capability to provide high quality, innovative tax solutions to support our clients' business needs."

Aurélie has considerable experience advising clients on tax aspects of international structuring via Luxembourg regulated and non-regulated vehicles, with a specific focus on infrastructure and real estate funds and transactions. Before joining Ogier, Aurélie worked in the tax practice of another international firm based in Luxembourg and, prior to this, she practised in Paris for eight years.

Ogier in Luxembourg provides legal advice on banking and finance, corporate, investment funds and tax law, together with a dedicated desk for German clients. The team includes market-leading partners and senior lawyers, who combine years of international experience with deep local knowledge.
