Ogier is proud to continue its sponsorship of the Jersey Festival of Words, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025. Ogier's funding will once again be dedicated to enhancing accessibility and creating inclusive experiences for all festival attendees.

This year’s festival, which runs from 19 – 28 September, will continue its commitment to breaking down barriers and ensuring that everyone in the community can engage with literature, storytelling and the arts. Ogier's sponsorship will enable a wide range of inclusive initiatives, including:

  • speech-to-text captioning at selected events
  • BSL interpretation at selected events
  • a lipreading and deaf awareness workshop
  • sighted guide training for festival volunteers
  • multilingual storytelling sessions in Millennium Park for nursery-aged children

Sophie Halsey, senior diversity, equity and inclusion advisor at Ogier said: "We're delighted to support the Jersey Festival of Words in its 10th year. These provisions are about more than just access – they're about belonging. We hope they will help more islanders and visitors attending the festival feel included and connected through the power of words."
