Ogier has further strengthened its global Cayman Islands corporate offering with crypto and fintech expert Racheal Muldoon joining the firm as a partner* in London.
Racheal joins Ogier’s Corporate team, where she will advise on high-value, cross-border matters involving digital assets, fintech, Web3 and emerging technologies, with a particular focus on Cayman Islands structures used by technology companies, investment funds, founders and institutional investors operating internationally.
A senior barrister by background, Racheal brings extensive experience advising governments, regulators, financial institutions and technology innovators on complex issues spanning AI, blockchain, digital assets and financial technology. She is internationally recognised for her role in shaping legal precedent in the digital assets space, including securing the world’s first proprietary injunction relating to NFTs, and the first grant of permission by courts in England and Wales to serve legal proceedings via blockchain airdrop.
Her practice sits at the intersection of technology, finance and regulation, combining deep technical fluency with strategic advisory and litigation expertise. This enables clients to protect and recover digital assets, manage regulatory and enforcement risk, and design resilient corporate and investment structures in rapidly evolving legal and commercial environments.
Nathan Powell, Global Head of Corporate at Ogier, said: “Racheal’s appointment represents a significant enhancement of our Cayman corporate capability in London and reinforces Ogier’s position as a leading adviser to clients operating in technology driven and digitally native markets. Her market-defining experience in crypto, fintech and emerging technologies aligns closely with our clients’ needs as they navigate regulatory complexity and global expansion.”
Ogier’s international multidisciplinary Technology and Web3 team, of which Racheal is a member, advises clients on the structuring, launch, financing and evolution of digital and decentralised projects, as well as blockchain and cryptocurrency related investment products and services. With lawyers across key offshore and onshore jurisdictions, Ogier delivers integrated, cross-border advice to clients operating in some of the most dynamic and regulated sectors of the global economy.
