Ogier expands its London office

International and offshore legal and professional services firm Ogier has moved to new London premises to provide greater flexibility and service to its clients.

The firm's presence in the UK has grown significantly. 70 employees are now attached to the London office following substantial growth in each of the legal, corporate and fiduciary, and specialist business services teams. To cater for this, Ogier has moved to a new office at St Helen's Place, Bishopsgate – a minute's walk away from its previous location at 100 Bishopsgate.

Ogier's London practice partner Jeremy Snead said: "Our clients value having a point of contact in the City. Through this expansion, we can continue to provide excellent time-zone specific services for our clients. The London office is an extension of Ogier's global framework. We provide face-to-face legal and professional services expertise in the UK, and each member of our team works seamlessly with our home jurisdictions. Our St Helen's Place location gives us a central hub to hold meetings with our clients, host seminars, roundtables and training events, as well as continue our popular existing relationship development activities." 

Ogier's London hub has both qualified lawyers and corporate and fiduciary experts, representing the firm's key jurisdictions. These include the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Ireland, and Jersey. Visiting colleagues from Ogier's other offices, including Luxembourg, will also use the premises.

Ogier's transactional legal services cover banking and finance, corporate, and investment funds advice while the Dispute Resolution team specialise in shareholder disputes, insolvency, restructuring, and fraud and asset tracing. Within private wealth, Ogier has a proven track record of assisting trustees, fiduciaries, settlors, beneficiaries, and family offices to structure and support their wealth and businesses.

Ogier's corporate and fiduciary services division, Ogier Global, specialises in the administration of structures in the corporate, debt capital markets, private wealth, and real estate sectors, with expertise in the UK market. Working closely with Ogier's legal teams to incorporate and administer a wide variety of vehicles, our highly knowledgeable team provides exceptional personal service, working collaboratively with clients to deliver responsive, commercial solutions.
