Ogier one of top ten MandA legal advisers in Central and Eastern Europe

Ogier has been named in the top ten legal advisers to mergers and acquisitions in Central and Eastern Europe.

Mergermarket's review of Q1-Q3 2019 puts Ogier at 5th place for advising Russian M&A (by value) and 8th place for the CEE region overall. Ogier is the only offshore firm to feature in the CEE list among international magic circle firms including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Allen & Overy, and Clifford Chance.

Ogier's recent work in the region includes large public company M&A, a number of energy financings and infra-projects work.

Ray Wearmouth, who leads Ogier's office in the BVI noted that "the CEE region has remained an active market for transactional work and we've been fortunate to have worked closely with many of the leading firms in those markets."
