Alexandra Alekhina

Alexandra is an associate in Ogier’s London Corporate team, advising clients on international capital markets, public and private mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. 

Background and experience

Alexandra trained and subsequently practised as an associate in the Moscow and London offices of Latham & Watkins, where she gained broad experience in M&A as well as debt and equity capital markets.

Alexandra has extensive experience in international advocacy as a former participant and current judge in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and the Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot (FDI Moot).

A native Russian speaker, Alexandra speaks fluent English.

• DoorDash on its takeover offer for delivery service Deliveroo plc, which is listed on the main market of the LSE, in the largest offer announced in 2025

• TI Fluid Systems plc on its takeover offer by ABC Technologies Inc., a company majority owned by Apollo funds and minority owned by Oaktree funds

• Diversified Energy Company plc in connection with the proposed acquisition of Oaktree Capital Management’s working interests in certain assets operated by DEC in the Central Region

• Citi, RBC, and BMO as placement agents on ACG Acquisition Company Limited’s US$1 billion de-SPAC acquisition of two Brazilian mines, including an equity placing and readmission to listing on the LSE

• J.P. Morgan and Dragon Capital in connection with a consent solicitation for the Eurobonds issued by Ukrainian Railways

Alexandra received a diploma in law with honours from Moscow State University of International Relations.
