Brian Monroe

Brian is the chief financial officer for Ogier. He has more than 25 years' experience in financial services. He is instrumental in redefining how the business services team supports the client facing teams, establishing centres of excellence across the globe. 

Background and experience

Brian oversees the financial strategy, management and growth of the firm. Before joining Ogier, Brian worked at another leading law firm where he was global financial director. He has more than 10 years of experience in the legal setting in senior financial positions. His expertise spans a range of sectors which provides both a solid foundation and innovation-led mindset for the professional services Ogier offers.

Brian is a non-executive director of Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful and sits on the Board of Governors of Belfast Royal Academy.

A graduate of The Queen’s University of Belfast, Brian is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Qualifications:

• Admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ICAI) in November 1996
• Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland since November 2006
