Doug leads the Service Innovation Team responsible for the delivery of innovative ways of working across Ogier's legal service lines and business services teams in each of our jurisdictions to deliver client-led service improvements.

Background and experience

Doug has more than 17 years' experience in financial services, including 11 in the offshore world. His last role before joining Ogier in January 2016 was in Jersey as Head of Private Banking Operations at Santander Private Banking.

As Director of Service Innovation Doug is responsible for the implementation of new systems and tools to help drive quality provision of legal services; leading the pan-jurisdictional Knowledge Management function; and pioneering the application of continuous improvement methodology across the business to help to drive client-led process efficiencies.

He holds qualifications in law, operations management and project management.
