Background and experience
Before joining Ogier, Eric worked as a research assistant at the University of Nottingham (see 'An Empirical Analysis of the Design Case Law of the EU Member States', E. Derclaye, 2019), as a lawyer in the corporate funds industry, as legal counsel for a leading Latin American energy producer, and as a corporate litigation attorney. He obtained a Master's degree in EU Law with two specialisations, in international business law and IP rights, from the Catholic University of Louvain.
In 2022, Eric obtained professional real estate certificates from the Ministry of the Economy of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg.
