She regularly acts for trustees, beneficiaries, high‑net‑worth individuals and professional advisors. Her work in this area spans contested Public Trustee v Cooper applications, sham trust allegations, rectification and variation proceedings, and disputes concerning the removal of trustees. She also advises on issues arising from tax compliance failures, information requests and cross‑border questions of capacity, legitimacy and estate administration.

responding to disclosure requests under information‑exchange frameworks
advising on blessing applications relating to the payment of foreign taxes
assisting trustees and beneficiaries facing enquiries from tax authorities outside formal agreements

She also has experience dealing with enforcement proceedings and costs issues, including taxation.
Heidi is a committee member of the Guernsey Bar Council and sits on the Royal Court civil rules committee. She is also an active member of Ogier’s CSR and DEI committee and is particularly supportive of causes focused on social mobility and the representation of women.
