Holly Challenger

Holly is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team in the BVI. She originally qualified as a barrister in England and Wales, and is an Associate Member of 5 Stone Buildings in London. Holly has significant advocacy experience in the English High Court. The Legal 500 (UK Bar) describes her advocacy as 'clear, focused and direct'. Holly has acted in a wide range of matters concerning trusts and estates litigation. She also has experience acting for clients in applications for urgent injunctive relief.

Background and experience

Before joining Ogier, Holly was a Chancery barrister at Parklane Plowden Chambers where she specialised in contentious trusts and probate matters. She regularly appeared in the High Court, but also has experience representing clients during alternative dispute resolution.

Holly was ranked as a 'Rising Star' by The Legal 500 in both 2024 and 2025 in respect of the Chancery, Probate and Tax category of the UK Bar.

Holly is a graduate of the University of Newcastle (England). She graduated in 2018 with First Class Honours, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Gray's Inn in July 2019.
