Joanna Ng 黃慧慧

Joanna works within Ogier’s Banking and Finance team in Hong Kong. She has extensive experience advising on a broad range of financing transactions, including structured finance, fund finance, asset finance, real estate finance, trade finance and secured and unsecured general corporate lending.

Background and experience

Joanna's practice focuses on structured finance, fund finance, asset finance, real estate finance, trade finance and secured and unsecured general corporate lending.

Before joining Ogier, Joanna was an associate in the banking and finance department of Mayer Brown in Hong Kong. She also previously worked in the banking and finance department of a law firm in Singapore.

Joanna did a six-month secondment with the Bank of China, Singapore Branch, to assist its legal department with complex loan transactions. She also spent six months with the legal department of a cryptocurrency company listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong advising on cryptocurrency loans and security. 

Joanna received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nottingham in 2014. She completed Part A of the Singapore Bar Examinations with the National University of Singapore and Part B of the Singapore Bar Examinations with the Singapore Institute of Legal Education in 2015. She also completed the Overseas Lawyers Qualification Examination in Hong Kong in 2020.

Joanna speaks fluent English and Mandarin.

黃律师专注于结构性融资、基金融资、资产融资、房地产融资、贸易融资以及有担保和无担保的一般公司借贷等业务。在加入奥杰香港之前，黃律师曾在香港孖士打律师行的银行和金融团队担任律师。她还曾在新加坡一家律师事务所的银行和金融团队工作。

黃律师曾被委派到中国银行新加坡分行工作六个月，协助其法律部门处理复杂的融资交易。她亦曾在一家在香港交易所上市的加密货币公司的法律部门工作六个月，处理相关加密货币借贷业务。

黃律师于2014年获得诺丁汉大学法学学士学位。她于2015年完成了新加坡国立大学的新加坡律师考试A部分和新加坡法律教育学院的新加坡律师考试B部分。她还于2020年在香港完成了海外律师资格考试。

黃律师会流利的英语和普通话。
