Katy was called to the English Bar in 2005 where she practised for many years before returning to her childhood home of Guernsey, where she was called to the Guernsey Bar in 2024. Katy is a consummate trial lawyer and has a wealth of advocacy experience spanning over two decades, including in the Court of Appeal. Katy brings this tactical knowledge and forensic attention to detail to all matters on which she is instructed.
Katy's recent cases include the Court of Appeal trust litigation of BX v T, a 10 day gross negligence trial before judge and jurats in the Royal Court and advising directors in connection with GFSC regulatory investigations
