Margot Carty

Margot has more than 20 years of experience in providing listing agent services to both debt instruments (including CLOs, ABS, securitisation structures, corporate bond issuances, EMTN, Covered Bond, ETP and ETC programmes) and investment funds (including ETFs) seeking a stock exchange listing. Margot's experience covers listing applications across a number of stock exchanges, including Ireland, Luxembourg, Vienna, London, the Channel Islands and the Cayman Islands. As part of the application process, Margot works closely with local regulators in Ireland, Luxembourg and London in relation to prospectus approvals under the EU and UK Prospectus Regulation.

Background and experience

Margot advises issuers, arrangers, managers and legal advisers on all matters relating to a stock exchange listing. This includes advising on the most appropriate choice of listing venue, all aspects relating to a listing application from initial consultation through to admission, and the ongoing listing requirements relating to the maintenance of a stock exchange listing.

Prior to joining Ogier Margot was head of listing agent services for 10 years at a leading Irish law firm. Margot is part of the listing agent working group of the Irish Debt Securities Association.
