Marie Romero

Marie is counsel in Ogier's Dispute Resolution team and is based in Luxembourg. She has significant experience in civil, commercial and administrative matters, as well as assisting both individuals and international companies with cross-border or multi-jurisdictional litigation. Marie has also worked as a consultant for the CNPD (National Commission for Data Protection) for several years.

Background and experience

Marie's expertise spans shareholder disputes, breach of contract, administrators' liability and disputes with public authorities, including tax authorities. She also has solid experience in real estate, including reviewing and assisting in the drafting and conclusion of various contracts, such as those relating to the transfer of shares, subcontracting, property sales agreements, pre-sale agreements and leases. She has previous experience in litigation relating to administrative refusals and defects or malfunctions.

Marie was admitted to practice law in Luxembourg in 2002 and previously worked for law firms in Luxembourg and with the CNDP before joining Ogier.
