Mike Azarnikow

Mike is an experienced associate based in the Cayman Islands, where he assists clients across a range of practice areas, including investment funds, corporate, finance, and digital assets.

Background and experience

Prior to joining Ogier in 2023, Mike worked at leading commercial law firms in Australia where he developed a strong background in corporate transactions, including private and public capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets.

Mike has a personal interest in blockchain technology and has been an active member of the community since 2019. He welcomes the expanding regulatory environment surrounding cryptocurrencies and hopes it is able to provide greater clarity and certainty for participants in decentralized finance, helping to legitimize and mainstream these innovative financial technologies.
