Background and experience

Prior to joining Ogier, Racheal practised as a barrister at the Bar of England and Wales, where she built a distinguished reputation as a pioneering lawyer in digital assets, AI and emerging technologies. During this time, she secured world-first judgments, acted in many of the leading technology matters of the day, and became a trusted adviser to global regulators and governments. Her work included advising five international financial regulators on their digital-asset policy approaches, supporting governmental bodies on the legal and operational implications of emerging technologies, and acting in the world’s largest crypto-exchange insolvency, the collapse of FTX, where she served as trusted adviser to the Securities Commission of The Bahamas as Supreme Court-appointed trustees of over $3Bm of digital assets.
