Ross has specialised in banking and finance and has experience in a broad range of areas including real estate finance, asset backed lending, renewable energy and project finance, fin-tech, acquisition finance, fund and subscription finance, derivatives and general corporate lending (secured and unsecured). Ross has acted for a range of clients, particularly multi-national credit institutions and investment funds (both debt and equity funds). He has in-depth experience working with offshore funds (hedge funds and private equity), as well as a variety of general corporate law including M&A, corporate governance, corporate incorporations, listings and general corporate advice.
Ross is part of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Private Equity team. He specialises in Finance and Downstream Corporate Advisory (acquisitions and exit phase) work, with experience in fund formation and capital raising. His achievements include working on US private equity investment into EBANX (a payments processing company headquartered in Brazil, valued at over $1 billion) as well as a number of private equity-backed mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Ogier in 2017, Ross was based in London and Bristol and was part of the Corporate Finance and Banking team at Burges Salmon LLP where he advised on all aspects of corporate finance and commercial banking.
Ross received his LLB in Law and Chinese Law from the University of Nottingham in 2010 and his Diploma in Legal Practice from BPP Law School (London) in 2011.
Ross is a member of the Law Society for England and Wales (non practising).
