Simon Keogh

Simon is a senior associate in Ogier's Investment Funds team in Ireland. He specialises in the structuring, establishment and ongoing operation of a broad range of Irish-domiciled regulated fund structures (including UCITS, AIFs, ICAVs, PLCs and unit trusts) for asset managers, investment firms and financial institutions.

Background and experience

Simon advises on the legal and regulatory issues relating to the establishment and ongoing operation of investment funds in Ireland. He also advises on the establishment, ongoing operation and regulation of AIFMs and UCITS management companies, along with regulatory clearance applications for investment managers. He has extensive experience advising UCITS and AIFs in relation to their obligations under the SFDR regime.

Before joining Ogier, Simon gained experience both in private practice within a top-tier funds team in Dublin and in-house, having completed a client secondment at a leading global asset manager.

Simon is an active member of Irish Funds, basis.point and EFAMA. Simon is a graduate of University College Dublin.
