Before joining Ogier Victoria was an associate at another offshore firm and spent a year on secondment in Hong Kong. She recently worked on a Members' Scheme of Arrangement for the privatisation of a HKSE listed company. She was also part of the legal team representing the Liquidation Committee in the Caledonian Bank liquidation proceedings and the team acting for an ad hoc group of creditors in the Ocean Rig debt restructuring.
Victoria was the first articled clerk to participate in the Cayman Bar Association - Chancery Bar Placement Scheme, completing three months of her training at Maitland Chambers.
Before commencing her articles she participated in a pro bono legal mission trip to Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya with the Lawyers Christian Fellowship.
Victoria earned her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice with Distinction from the University of Law, Manchester. After attaining a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia she completed the Graduate Diploma in Law conversion course with Commendation from the College of Law, Manchester.
Victoria is a member of CILPA, RISA and IWIRC.
