Vivian is a specialist in cross-border high-value insolvency restructuring and complex commercial litigation, shareholder and trust disputes. She regularly advises corporates, creditors, trustees, and shareholders on both contentious and non-contentious matters in the BVI and the Cayman Islands.
Background and experience
Vivian’s unique breadth of experience ranges from top-tier private practice to the public sector in Hong Kong SAR and the People’s Republic of China, including roles at the regulator and the Commercial Division of the Shenzhen People’s Court.
Vivian is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Her language skills, combined with direct exposure to both international and Chinese legal environments, bring deep cultural understanding and nuance to her practice.
Vivian is experienced in succession law, regularly assisting high net worth individuals and family offices with succession disputes and applications for grants of personal representation and matters relating to the administration of estates. Vivian is a sub-committee member of Society of Trust and Estate Planning, Disputes Resolution and also a general affiliate member.
