Ogier Corporate Finance has acted for telecommunications company VMED O2 UK (VMED O2) on the listing of two green bonds on The International Stock Exchange (TISE) sustainable market segment.
As listing agent, Ogier acted in respect of the $1,400,000,000 4.75% Senior Secured Notes due 2031 and £675,000,000 4.5% Senior Secured Notes due 2031, which have been listed on TISE Sustainable, which launched in July.
VMED O2 has developed a green bond framework, which is aligned with the Green Bond Principles 2021, as administered by the International Capital Market Association (ICMA), and under which it is issuing green bonds and using the proceeds to finance and/or refinance projects that will contribute to the decarbonisation of the company's operations.
The Ogier team was led by Raulin Amy, Director of Ogier Corporate Finance Limited, and included Lucy Chambers and Emily Renouf.
Raulin said: “Ogier Corporate Finance Limited continues to see significant interest from issuers who wish to list bonds on TISE, and it is especially pleasing to see the TISE Sustainable establishing itself as Europe’s most comprehensive sustainable market segment."
