Ogier acts as Cayman Islands counsel to Zhen Ding Technology Holding

Ogier acted as Cayman Islands counsel to Zhen Ding Technology Holding (ZDT) in relation to a US$300 million issue of zero-coupon convertible bonds due in 2019. The bonds will be listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. This is the largest convertible bond deal in Taiwan this year.

ZDT is a Foxconn spin-off, incorporated in the Cayman Islands and listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. Ogier also acted on ZDT's IPO as well as a previous convertible bond issue in 2012.

Merrill Lynch Far East Limited, Citigroup Global Markets Limited and Credit Suisse (Hong Kong) Limited are the initial purchasers of the Bonds.

The Ogier team was led by Nathan Powell who was assisted by associate Florence Chan
